Westcor Appoints Senior Underwriting Counsel

Westcor Land Title Insurance Company Appoints Attorney Elizabeth J (Barton) Young, Sr. Underwriter.

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. appointed Elizabeth J. (Barton) Young as vice president and senior underwriting counsel. She will be responsible for underwriting in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

“We are delighted to have Elizabeth on the New England team.” said Scott Chandler, executive vice president of Westcor’s Agency Division. “She has 15 years of industry experience and aligns with Westcor’s dedication to provide unparalleled service to its agents.”

Prior to joining Westcor, Young served as senior underwriting counsel for a national title insurance underwriter supporting agents with underwriting advice and guidance for New England agents. She also worked with a regional title examination company, a commercial law firm. Young is known for providing industry related education programs. She is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA) and an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA).
