Stewart Title’s Lewallen Elected a Fellow to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Stewart Title announced that Dawn Lewallen, senior compliance counsel and senior underwriter, was elected a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA).

Lewallen has worked in real estate services for more than 17 years and has been an active member of the American Land Title Association and Georgia Bar Association. Her expertise includes writing and lecturing on real estate and title insurance for financial institutions, builder and realtor associations, and title companies throughout the country.

Following several years in private practice, she joined Stewart Title in 2000. Recently, Lewallen’s major focus has been the CFPB's Know Before You Owe rule
