AmTrust Expands Senior Underwriting Team

August 10, 2017

AmTrust Title Insurance Company announced that Cynthia Kern recently joined the company as senior underwriting counsel.

An accomplished title practitioner with more than 15 years of legal and operational experience in the real estate industry, Kern’s responsibilities include analyzing and resolving all title issues relating to New York commercial real estate transactions.

“We are very pleased to welcome Cynthia to our existing group of senior underwriters,” said Steven Napolitano, executive vice president of AmTrust Title. “As we expand to meet the growing demand from clients transacting an ever increasing number of deals, we are augmenting our team with talented professionals in order to more efficiently provide services. Cynthia is a creative problem solver, a proven motivational force, and a great fit with our corporate culture.”

Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Kern was underwriting counsel and operations strategist with New York-based World Wide Land Transfer Inc. where she worked closely with several large developers on multi-site commercial acquisitions and financing transactions in New York and New Jersey.

Before that, she was vice president and director of operations for TitleVest Agency Inc., where she managed over 100 employees in 13 departments and overseeing operations of all nine service lines.
