First American Named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work

For the third consecutive year, First American Financial Corporation was named as one of the 2018 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.
“Earning national recognition three years in a row as one of the best companies to work for, more than anything else, reflects the integrity, commitment and teamwork of our people,” said Dennis J. First American was among hundreds of other companies evaluated for placement on the list. The evaluation is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace culture on more than 50 elements of the workplace. These include trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and workplace traits linked to innovation. The ranking accounted for the experiences of all employees including women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, older team members and disabled employees.

In 2017, Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work recognized First American for the second consecutive year as one of the Best Workplaces for Women and one of the Best Workplaces for Diversity, as well as one of the 40 Best Workplaces in Financial Services. First American has earned recognition as a “best place to work” 54 times in publications across the United States since 2012.
