AmTrust Grows Team in Carolinas

AmTrust Title Insurance Company has expanded its professional team in the Southeast by adding Mark Hungate as a regional sales representative and Jesse Cavett as underwriting counsel
“We are very excited to welcome Mark and Jesse aboard, allowing us local expertise to grow our presence in North Carolina and South Carolina,” said Thomas Klein, senior vice president/national agency manager. “Each brings a wealth of regional knowledge and consistent title insurance experience, thereby enhancing our ability to meet the rising demand for title insurance for AmTrust Title in the Carolinas.”
Hungate, a 20-year industry veteran, will focus on business development, customer service and operations. Prior to joining AmTrust Title, he held senior positions with a wide variety of title and mortgage companies, the most recent of which was North American Title Insurance Company. Earlier he worked for independent title agencies, a mortgage insurance company, a nationwide appraisal management company and a default management services company.
Cavett will provide guidance on legal and underwriting issues related to title insurance matters for attorneys and title agents in both North and South Carolina. Prior to joining AmTrust, he was managing title attorney for Columbia, S.C.-based McDonnell & Associates, where he supervised South Carolina title operations and managed various title attorneys for this multi-state real estate law firm and title company.
