RamQuest Gives Back to A Place Called Home

November 6, 2018

In its ongoing initiative to support local charities and nonprofit organizations, RamQuest Inc, raised more than $1,300 for A Place Called Home (APCH) as part of the company’s ALTA ONE participation in October.

During the ALTA ONE Annual Convention, RamQuest rallied conference attendees and vendor partners to support this South Central Los Angeles organization. The more traffic at the RamQuest exhibit hall booth, the more the company’s donation to APCH grew. Every booth visitor, scheduled product demonstration and returned direct mail card helped. In addition to campaigning at the event, RamQuest also took to social media where APCH’s original CDs were given away and every “like” and “share” for the company’s A Place Called Home posts helped grow the donation.

“We at A Place Called Home are honored to be the recipient of RamQuest's efforts through the ALTA One Annual Convention,” said Gilbert Radillo, external relations and special initiatives director at A Place Called Home. “RamQuest was instrumental in creating a fun way to fund raise by providing contributors with music that is made by our students through our music program. It's even more gratifying to know that our student’s art and music is being shared on a national level and being embraced by RamQuest in Texas, something that I am sure will crescendo for years to come.”

A Place Called Home provides a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central Los Angeles to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy, fulfilling and purposeful lives.
