Washington State Resident Earns ALTA National Title Professional Recognition

November 13, 2018

ALTA recently awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation to Maureen Pfaff, president and chief executive officer of Olympic Peninsula Title in Port Angeles, Wash.

Pfaff, who received her NTP designation Oct. 1, joins 95 other leaders from across the United States who also have devoted their careers and themselves to the land title insurance industry.

“The NTP designation is bestowed only upon land title industry professionals who have made an extraordinary commitment to the industry and proved themselves through a rigorous vetting process,” said ALTA President Cynthia Durham Blair NTP. “Maureen’s hard work, extensive experience and sharp intellect make her an excellent example for the industry; her designation is well-deserved. I invite other land title insurance experts to apply for this achievement.”

Pfaff has also served as vice president and chief financial officer for Olympic Peninsula Title since joining the company in 2005. She currently is serving her second year on ALTA’s Board of Governors as a representative for the Agents & Abstracters Section. A past president of the Washington Land Title Association (WLTA), she received her Washington Title Professional (WTP) designation on Sept. 25, 2018. Pfaff serves on many ALTA committees as well as the WLTA’s WTP committee.
