The Docket: U.S. Bankruptcy Court Rules Insurer Not Liable for Misrepresentation

Cheryl Cowherd, senior underwriting counsel for Agents National Title Insurance Co., provided today’s review of a ruling by a U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Illinois that addressed grounds for dischargeability. Read on to learn why the ruling could have been different if the title company had not followed proper search procedures.
