Southern Title Honored with State Award by Women’s Council of Realtors

February 5, 2019

Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Southern Title Holding Company LLC received the 2018 Strategic Business Partner of the Year Award for the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) Florida at the Network’s Mid-Winter Meetings.

The achievement highlights the company’s commitment to the mission of WCR, both in terms of time and talent, as well as continued financial support. Accepting the award on behalf of Southern Title were Director of Sales Mary Mula, Director of Compliance & Corporate Communications Lisa Blythe, and Account Executives Ashley Schilling, Sarah Doyer and Angela Neumer.

“It is such an honor to be recognized on a state level for the company’s continued support of this fabulous association which values relationships, leadership, integrity, and involvement,” Mula said. “As a woman-run company ourselves, founded on the core values of family, experience, knowledge and integrity, we are proud to support the empowerment, education and leadership development of women entrepreneurs throughout the state. Nobody does that better than WCR.”

Although this is the first time Southern Title has been honored on a state level for its support of Women’s Council of Realtors, the company has been actively involved in its local networks for more than 15 years and was named Business Partner of the Year of the West Volusia Network in 2006, the Daytona Beach Network in 2008, and the Volusia Network in 2017. In addition, the company was instrumental in the development of the Flagler Network in 2004.

In addition to its recognition on behalf of WCR, Southern Title has been named “Best of the Best” Title Company in Volusia and Flagler counties by readers of the Daytona Beach News Journal for the past two years.

Mula, a former Realtors and past president of the Volusia Network, leads the team of six sales professionals at Southern Title who are actively involved in their local networks across the state. Southern Title currently has associates serving on the Boards of Directors of the North Lake, Flagler, Daytona Beach, and Volusia networks; the company is a strategic partner in each of those networks as well as the Jacksonville network; and it has recently become an active part of the Tampa network.
