Knight Barry Title Expands Into Florida With Acquisition

Knight Barry Title has expanded into Florida following its acquisition of Pensacola, Fla.-based Partnership Title Company LLC.

According to a press release, all Partnership Title employees, including owner Carol D. Eubanks, will remain with Knight Barry Title banner. Eubanks, who has four decades of land title experience in her hometown, opened Partnership Title in 2008.

The sale became official on March 1. In addition to Florida, Knight Barry Title operates offices in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. Its headquarters are in Milwaukee, Wis. Knight Barry Title’s chief executive officer, Jeff Green, has owned the company since 1979.

Craig Haskins, Knight Barry Title Group’s chief operating officer, said he and Green are ecstatic that all of Eubanks’ team members wanted to continue as part of the Knight Barry Title family. He is hopeful that the Pensacola office is just one of many future Florida locations for his company.

“When you’re buying a title company, you’re investing in the great staff already there. We don’t want to disrupt any of the customers,” Haskins said. “We are excited to be able to serve Florida customers with this first office and are eager to have Carol on board as we continue our push to provide more Knight Barry Title services in Florida, as well as across the United States.”

Eubanks said that that joining forces with Knight Barry Title was a great decision for her business’s present and future. Better technology, a commitment to compliance and a wider array of employee benefits are just some of the positives Eubanks named about her new company. Her team will also have more space to serve customers in after Knight Barry Title leased more space to expand her office.

“Pensacola has a really small-town feel,” Eubanks said about her company’s newest home. “I think Knight Barry Title is going to be embraced by the Realtors and even the other title companies.”

Eubanks and Knight Barry Title leadership are hopeful that her office is just one of several to come for the company in the future. The search for more locations in the state is ongoing, according to Green.

“Today is the start of great things for Knight Barry Title.” Green said. “We want to continue to grow in Florida.”
