ePN adds Georgia County to E-recording Network

May 16, 2019

eRecording Partners Network announced it has partnered with the DeKalb County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office to expand its electronic recording services in Georgia.

Debra DeBerry, clerk of DeKalb County Superior Court, and her team have been working diligently to develop processes that are efficient and cost effective to both the county and community.

“We are excited to announce that we have modernized our real estate document recording services by utilizing both Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority and national e-recording business providers, including eRecording Partners Network,” DeBerry said. “E-recording allows customers to conveniently and securely record all real estate documents, while expediting the turnaround time and reducing overall paper and mailing expenses.”

DeKalb County implemented e-recording to allow closing agents to submit documents electronically for recording. Once approved by the clerk, the documents are then electronically imported into the county’s official records. With no costs incurred by the county from ePN, DeBerry was able to expand this public service to DeKalb County customers.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with DeKalb County as an e-recording business partner,” said Jerry Lewallen, ePN president. “Increasing efficiency and productivity within their office is the goal and ePN is excited to be a part of the solution.”
