SoftPro Integrates With Black Knight’s Digital Closing Solution

SoftPro announced it has integrated with Black Knight’s digital closing solution, Expedite Close,

Users of SoftPro 360 business exchange platform have access to the integration and can securely sign and notarize documents online.

“SoftPro is excited to offer the Expedite Close solution to our customers,” said Patrick Hempen, SoftPro chief customer officer. “Our users, as well as the homebuyers and sellers they serve, will benefit from such easy-to-use capabilities as integrated e-signing, document recognition and automated signature field application. Now able to handle all types of closings—from a traditional wet-ink closing all the way through a hybrid or fully digital close—users will benefit greatly from the added efficiencies Expedite Close brings to the process.”

Expedite Close provides secure online collaboration between all parties in a real estate transaction, including the settlement agent, lender, real estate agent, investor and the consumer. Its support of wet-ink, hybrid or full digital mortgage closings helps streamline the transfer of real property for everyone involved. Expedite Close currently provides e-sign capabilities and supports remote online notarization (RON) with plans for enhanced RON capabilities in the near future. According to Black Knight, settlement agents using Expedite Close not only benefit from improved borrower satisfaction, but also from reduced risk and enhanced efficiencies without having to significantly alter their current processes.
