Westcor Appoints SVP of Strategic Development

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. announced it has hired Roy Wittig to serve as senior vice president of strategic development.

In this role, Wittig will be responsible for new product developments, business development, and expanding data assets and automation capabilities.

"We are excited to welcome Roy to our Westcor team. His deep experience in our industry, brings additional best-in-class expertise to our team as we continue to drive innovation in the title insurance market," said Chris Stewart, chief information officer of Westcor Global.

With close to 20 years of experience in the title and mortgage industries, Wittig has been instrumental in the design, development and launch of new products and services throughout his careers. In which he led market expansion and new product development initiatives that support the real estate, mortgage, title and secondary market verticals. These products and services have led to market expansion, development of new automation capabilities and solutions leveraging data, analytics and AI/ML and driving revenue growth.

“Taking a fresh and innovative approach, Westcor has proven itself as an industry leader, willing to challenge the status-quo and reimagine the title and closing process,” Wittig said. “It’s an exciting time in our industry and an honor to join such a forward-thinking organization,” added Wittig. “I look forward to building upon Westcor’s success, developing solutions that empower our agent partners and their clients to thrive in a rapidly evolving market where consumers, lenders and Realtors are demanding a more robust, digital experience.”
