The July 2020 digital edition of TitleNews is available for download. The cover article of this edition highlights strategies title and settlement companies can follow to help keep staff and customers safe in their offices during theCOVID-19 crisis. Other articles in this edition a survey showing that 30 percent of title agencies are offering a version of digital closings;MISMO has issued ALTA-supported Uniform Closing Instructions; Title companies raising millions to improve closings; and theRhode Island Supreme Court ruling non-attorneys can conduct closings. Starting in August, TitleNews will be delivered in a new digital, web-based format. ALTA decided to move to a new platform with Adobe Systems planning to stop supporting Adobe Flash on Dec. 31, 2020, due to security issues.
