Agents National Title Expands Texas Presence

September 29, 2020

Agents National Title Insurance Company (ANTIC) announced that Steve Ortega and Diana Reese have joined the company as agency representatives. Based in Texas, they are responsible for developing new agency relationships and providing ongoing support to ANTIC’s independent agent partners.

Their appointments come as demand soars for ANTIC’s services and technology-based solutions, which empower title agents and lenders to increase sales, and examine titles to close faster, with better data and insights. The company has grown its headcount more than 40 percent over the past two years. The company reported it is on track to quadruple revenues during that same period. Incenter’s acquisition of ANTIC is further fueling the underwriter’s ability to add top talent and technologies to help independent title agents optimize their business.

“Steve Ortega and Diana Reese fit perfectly with our team of talented people who care about one another and are service obsessed,” said David Townsend, president of ANTIC. “We are thrilled that they have chosen to work with us.”

Ortega, who is serving Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas from Fort Worth, has 13 years of experience in banking and lending. Most recently, he spent four years with a national underwriter, helping title agents grow their relationships with Realtors and lenders.

Reese, whose office is in Houston, has 20 years’ experience in the title and real estate related industries, both in direct operations and as an agency representative for a national underwriter.

“Steve and Diana are widely known and respected within the real estate and title communities. It is a pleasure to be working with them day to day,” said Mark Batis, Texas agency manager for ANTIC.
