Qualia Integrates With Municipal Data Services

Qualia has integrated with Municipal Data Services, a provider of tax and municipal search services for title companies in New York state. Through the integration, Qualia users will benefit from automated access to Municipal Data Services search products through the Qualia Marketplace.

“Title companies in New York often purchase a multitude of municipal and tax searches, however, this can be a tedious, time intensive process,” said Philip O’Hara, executive vice president at Municipal Data Services. “The new integration with Qualia will provide title professionals the ability to order all needed municipal and tax searches in one convenient order placement. We look forward to working with Qualia to further improve the experience of our mutual customers and empower the highest levels of client satisfaction, efficiency and success.”

Qualia users can place orders with Municipal Data Services directly within the Qualia Marketplace. Title companies using Municipal Data Services can order a variety of tax and municipal searches, including tax lien searches, tax bills searches, bankruptcy, landmark, flood zone and street maintenance searches. Customers will also benefit from a Qualia Marketplace feature which enables users to request multiple searches at the same time within a single order. With the integration, all data automatically uploads back into the settlement agent’s files. The agent receives updates on the progress of their order through a secure communication portal.

“We are committed to continually providing our customers new ways to easily and securely conduct business,” said Qualia Director of Business Development Max Lamb. “This integration allows Qualia users in the New York market to access Municipal Data Services detailed search services directly without ever leaving their core software.”
