ALTA Advocacy Summit is Your Opportunity to Network with Members of Congress

April 20, 2022

More Than 20 Federal Legislators to Attend ALTA Advocacy Summit Reception

Where else besides ALTA Advocacy Summit can you engage with Members of Congress in person? All attendees are invited to join us for a unique reception on May 17 at 5:30 p.m. More than 20 Members of Congress are expected to attend, including Reps. French Hill (R-AR), Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), Bill Huizenga (R-MI) and Joyce Beatty (D-OH) as well as Sens. Jack Reed (D-RI), John Hoeven (R-ND) and Ron Wyden (D-OR), among many others. Whether you want to discuss legislation affecting the title insurance industry, talk about what’s on the horizon for Capitol Hill or you’re just interested in the perfect photo op, this is your chance. Hurry: Reserve your hotel room before our room block closes tomorrow, April 20! During ALTA Advocacy Summit, you’ll get the inside scoop on D.C. politics, hear from federal leaders and meet with several members of Congress and their staffs. This in-person and virtual event provides the best opportunity you’ll have to engage with Congressional leaders and create a lasting impression on members of Congress.

As with ALTA’s other events, we will be closely tracking any COVID-19 restrictions and keep you informed if there are any changes. As of March 1, Washington, D.C., has lifted its mask mandate in most indoor settings. While the keynote speakers, education and networking events will be in person at ALTA Advocacy Summit, meetings with legislators and their staffs will be conducted virtually from the hotel.

No need to feel intimidated: ALTA staff will walk you through everything you need to know before your meetings with legislators. We’ll tell you what to expect and provide talking points you can use to ensure a successful visit.
