Learn How Federal Leaders Work Together During ALTA Advocacy Summit

If you want to “break the gridlock” on Capitol Hill, you need to talk to the Problems Solvers Caucus. And what better way to kick off a day at ALTA Advocacy Summit than to have breakfast with the Caucus co-chairs, Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)! The Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan group in the House of Representatives that includes 58 members, equally divided between Democrats and Republicans, who seek to foster bipartisan cooperation on key policy issues. Join us Wednesday, May 18, at 8 a.m. during the ALTA Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., to hear more about what the group currently is working on in Congress.

During ALTA Advocacy Summit, you’ll get the inside scoop on D.C. politics, hear from federal leaders and meet with many members of Congress and their staffs. This in-person and virtual event provides the best opportunity you’ll have to engage with Congressional leaders and create a lasting impression on members of Congress.

As with ALTA’s other events, we will be closely tracking any COVID-19 restrictions and keep you informed if there are any changes. As of March 1, Washington, D.C., has lifted its mask mandate in most indoor settings. While the keynote speakers, education and networking events will be in person at ALTA Advocacy Summit, meetings with legislators and their staffs will be conducted virtually from the hotel.

No need to feel intimidated: ALTA staff will walk you through everything you need to know before your meetings with legislators. We’ll tell you what to expect and provide talking points you can use to ensure a successful visit.
