On Tuesday, May 17, we’ll kick off our morning session with Reps. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) and Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), who introduced the bipartisan SECURE Notarization Act with 31 of their colleagues. The legislators will discuss with ALTA Senior VP of Public Affairs Chris Morton and ALTA Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs Emily Tryon how they have worked together to get the SECURE Notarization Act introduced and included in the National Defense Authorization Act last year as well as how they are pushing forward this year.

Problem Solvers Caucus Co-chairs Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
On Wednesday, May 18, have breakfast with the Problem Solvers Caucus co-chairs, Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)! The Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan group in the House of Representatives that includes 58 members, equally divided between Democrats and Republicans, who seek to foster bipartisan cooperation on key policy issues. Hear more about what the group currently is working on in Congress.

As with ALTA’s other events, we will be closely tracking any COVID-19 restrictions and keep you informed if there are any changes. As of March 1, Washington, D.C., has lifted its mask mandate in most indoor settings. While the keynote speakers, education and networking events will be in person at ALTA Advocacy Summit, meetings with legislators and their staffs will be conducted virtually from the hotel.
